ABOUT

MARCIA TANNER WAS BORN IN 1941. SHE STUDIED UNDER OKADA, A JAPANESE ARTIST AT THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO, AND SHE GRADUATED FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA.

IN 1967 SHE MOVED TO SOUTHEAST ASIA WHERE WHERE SHE TAUGHT AND PAINTED.

RETURNING TO AMERICA IN 1980, MARCIA TAUGHT AT LEHIGH UNIVERSITY, AND CONTINUED TO EXHIBIT HER WORK INTERNATIONALLY. HER PAINTINGS CAN BE FOUND IN PRIVATE AND PUBLIC COLLECTIONS..

MARCIA CURRENTLY LIVES IN CORNVILLE, A SMALL COMMUNITY IN NORTHERN ARIZONA. .
